June 24, 2025 – Hindustan Zinc Limited, the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, represented India at the 13th Asia Pacific General Galvanizing Conference, hosted by the Galvanizers Association of Malaysia, by showcasing leadership in sustainable zinc solutions and innovation. This premier event, held from June 23 to 26 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, provided a strategic platform for the company to highlight its global capabilities.

At Booth No. 10, Hindustan Zinc’s pavilion offered an immersive 3D Augmented Reality experience, allowing international delegates a firsthand view of the company’s advanced, technology-driven operations. The company also led a thought-leadership session titled "Galvanizing Industries: Current Scenario and Impact", which brought together global leaders, corrosion experts, and policymakers to discuss the emerging role of zinc in building sustainable infrastructure.

Zinc plays a pivotal role in galvanization, which protects steel from corrosion and supports key sectors like infrastructure, automotive, renewable energy, electronics, defense, high-tech manufacturing, and electric mobility.
