Vedanta Group’s Zinc-Lead and Silver producer Hindustan Zinc received the ‘IIM Non Ferrous Best Performance Award’ in the field of ‘Large Integrated Manufacturing Plants.’

The award was given to the company by Steel and Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, also the chief guest, on 14th November 2014 at College of Engineering, Pune. The award was conferred on the occasion of Indian Institute of Metals’ National Metallurgical Day.

Akhilesh Shukla, Head Research and Development and Ashish Kumar received the award on the behalf of Hindustan Zinc Ltd.
