Adding another feather in its cap, Hindustan Zinc Limited’s Rajpura Dariba Smelter unit was conferred with the ‘India Green Manufacturing Challenge-Gold Award 2015’ by the International Research Institute for Manufacturing.

The award was received by unit’s Associate Vice President Manoj Soni in a grand event organized at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The award is a mark of company’s sustainable manufacturing practice being followed in the entire production process.

HZL’s Head-Corporate Communication Pavan Kaushik informed that the award received by Hindustan Zinc Limited’s Rajpura Dariba Smelter Complex is due to the inclusion of advanced technology and innovation in production process whilst maintaining the environmental balance.
