Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) awarded Hindustan Zinc Limited’s Sindesar Khurd mine with the title ‘Energy Efficient Unit’ for excellent energy management. The award was conferred in an event called HICC in Hyderabad on 29th-30th October 2014. Joydeep CHnadra, GM-OD, Rajendra Kumar, Head- Electrical and Ashok Kumar Jain, Mechanical Maintenance received the award on behalf of HZL. In the award ceremony, more than 97 representatives belonging to fields of automotive, hospitality, cement and power were present.
