IIFL Holds Financial Literacy Workshop in Udaipur

IIFL (India Infoline Group), the leading one-stop financial services provider, organized an investor meet, FLAME – Financial Literacy Agenda for Mass Empowerment, today in Udaipur as a part of its CSR Initiative.
IIFL organized this financial literacy workshop in Udaipur with focus on financial education and awareness amongst diverse investor segments including HNIs, self-driven retail investors, senior citizens and youth to introduce and reinforce the best practices in investing in financial markets directly or through intermediaries.
Investors in and around Udaipur attended the workshop which commenced with lamp lighting ceremony and introductory speech by Mr. Rahul Jain, the owner of IIFL Franchisee.
Mr. Tarang Bhanushali, AVP, IIFL updated the people on equity and commodity markets and Mrs. Divya Sekhri, Assistant Vice President, IIFL addressed the gathering on IIFL’s Flame initiative and also gave a perspective on the market.
Both of them also responded to the queries from the investors. Mr. Nitin Kedia, Assistant Vice President, Currency, IIFL addressed the people on the currency market scenario and future prospects.
The interested participants will also be delivered a free copy of the first publication of IIFL under the auspices of the FLAME initiative titled ‘108 mantras for financial success’. The book has key educational and financial awareness related messages encompassing all the aspects of financial services ranging from equities, mutual funds, life insurance, real estate and much more.
All the messages were communicated through interestingly articulated cartoons.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Narendra Chandawat, Assistant Vice President, IIFL said, “I am very excited to be a part of this initiative. FLAME is our earnest endeavor to make a difference to the lives of people by spreading awareness about various concepts in the field of finance which can help them take better financial decisions.
We believe that this initiative can lead to the upliftment of the masses across India and that is why we have planned 1,000 such workshops across India.”
