India's premium automobile manufacturer, Tata Motors, opened the nations fifth Saarthi Aaram Kendra for truck drivers in Udaipur.

Tata Motors informed that it received overwhelming reponse to the initiative taken for improving the working conditions of commercial vehicle drivers.  The first Saarthi Aaram Kendra was launched in Haryana way back in May 2019. Subsequent to the response, the company opened three more outlets across India, the the fifth one was opened on Wednesday at Madri Industrial Area in Udaipur.  This center will be operated by the company in association with Pasco Motors.

Saarthi Aaram Kendra is primarily a state-oof-the-art rest centre for commercial vehicle drivers, and offers amenities like vehicle servicing facility, a dhaba/canteen, driver training room, secured parking, medical facility with a doctor, driver rest area, clean toilets, etc. among other things.

During the launch, Tata Motors also conducted a health, safety and environment awareness camp for the drivers as well as the Samarth Health Check-up camp.
