Are you an aspiring entrepreneur looking for an idea validation or incubators?  Well, iStart – a Government of Rajasthan program is designed to help you gain traction through deep mentor engagement, rapid iteration cycles, and fund raising preparation.

iStart Rajasthan is a flagship initiative of IT & Communication, Government of Rajasthan intended to nurture and support young minds towards entrepreneurship and facilitate creation of jobs . This program aims to foster innovation, which would further help in the economic growth and development of the state.

Through this initiative, the State Government intends to build an environment where there would be an easy access to knowledge exchange, validation of the idea, a kick start leading towards funding opportunity. Journey of iStart so far

Within a short span of one year, more than 1000 startups were enrolled into the ecosystem among which financial benefits were disbursed to over 50 startups.

In order to have the right mix with this initiative, over 100 startups were incubated in the iStart Program in incubation centers established by the Government of Rajasthan across the state. Direct work orders were issued by State Government under “Challenge for Change” initiative to winners of several Hackathon events.

This initiative provides more than 20 dedicated on-site mentors with 24/7 availability. and more than 100 mentors with diversified portfolios have been on-boarded to the iStart Program.

This is the  most active and visible government startup initiative in the country covered by all leading media portals. It is a home to Techno Hub which is India’s largest incubator, spread across 150,000 sq.ft. having seating capacity for over 700 entrepreneurs.

In this initiative, 100+ student-preneurs have visited Silicon Valley, USA and industrial hubs in India as part of Rajasthan Student Startup Exposure Program. iStart has received around 1000 applications among which more than 100 startups were incubated.

The State-of-the-art incubation facility is now provided in Udaipur, Jaipur and Kota at present.  Hence, iStart is an integrated comprehensive platform, which will be the single window resource for startups, incubators, investors, accelerators and mentors.
