Hindustan Zinc, in association with Srajan the Spark is organizing the 4th season of Jashn-E-Parwaz on 28-29 September, 2018 at Lok Kala Mandal, Udaipur. Jashn-E-Parwaz is an event inspired by the famous poet Shailesh Lodha.
A press conference to announce this melodious event was held on 25 September, 2018 at Hindustan Zinc, Yashad Bhavan. The conference was attended by Sunil Duggal, CEO – Hindustan Zinc; Amitabh Gupta, CFO – Hindustan Zinc; PS Talesra, Chairman – Srajan the Spark; Abbas Ali Bandookwala, Secretary – Srajan the Spark and GR Lodha, Chairman – Jashn-E-Parwaz Chapter 4, amidst a gathering of members of the print and electronic media and employees of Hindustan Zinc.
Srajan the Spark nurtures, promotes and develops the cultural heritage through organizing such events, featuring Ghazals, Classical vocal, instrumental music, etc. Suresh Wadkar was the star of the night at the Jashn-e-Parvaaz season 3 event in October 2017.
The highlight of the event will be the presence of Padmashree Ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas, who will entertain the gathering on 28 September, 2018. Pankaj Udhas, the Bollywood ghazal legend is known for singing mellifluous renditions like Chitthi Aayi Hai, Dillagi, Na Kajre Ki Dhar, among his other well known performances. The evening of 29 September will witness a magnificent gathering of poets, getting together for a poetic sumposium – “All India Mushaira”. This confluence of art lovers and bards will be the third edition of the symposium.

Our vision is to make Udaipur recognized for its Music University in the world which will include music maestros and experts coming from across the globe who will train the students.”

The “Srajan Lifetime Achievement Award” will be presented to Yogesh Ji, who is the man behind the lyrics of famous movies like Anand and Rajnigandha. The “Hindustan Zinc – Srajan Award 2018” will be awarded to prominent Music Director duo, Anand-Milind, who have composed over 200 Bollywood songs.
