Industries in Udaipur and Rajsamand are all set to benefit from the largest depot in the Ajmer Division, which is scheduled to be operative 6 months from now at Khemli.

Being constructed at the cost of Rs. 32 Crore, the work on the largest container depot with two railway lines of 1200 meter each, has begun under the supervision of the National Container Corporation.

As per railway authorities, subsequent to the conversion of the Gauge between Udaipur and Ahmedabad, this depot will give direct connectivity to Mundra and Pipava port in Gujarat and ports in Southern India, thereby benefitting businesses in the region substantially.

Marbel ,Stone, Cement and other industries in the region will get a big boost on logistics as it will ensure efficient transfer of their produce to other farther areas.
