Landmark Launch of First Export Train from Khemli CONCOR Depot

This important move will enhance direct export connectivity from-and-to Udaipur, thereby providing seamless and efficient logistics solutions to the industries in the Mewar region

Udaipur, March 3: In a landmark event, the first export train was flagged off from Khemli CONCOR Depot to MDCC (Mundra Port). This was an initiative of Direct Port Entry (DPE) with the collaboration of Maersk Shipping Line.

This important move will enhance direct export connectivity from-and-to Udaipur, thereby providing seamless and efficient logistics solutions to the industries in the Mewar region. It is expected to foster continuous growth and strengthen trade.

The operation was successfully organised by Vijay Singh, General Manager and KKU Cluster Head, and Sarwan Kumar, Terminal Manager of Khemli.

According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager BCS Chaudhary, the flag-off was attended by Raju Bhutada, Divisional Railway Manager, Ajmer, Namit Mehta, Udaipur District Collector, Rahul Jain, Commissioner of Udaipur Development Authority (UDA), Jitendra Meena, Senior DOM Ajmer, Ram Avatar Meena, Senior DSTE Ajmer, Sandeep, Senior DEN, and representatives from the industrial sector including Bharat Rathore of Maersk Shipping Line, Gagan Preet Singh of MAX Shipping Line, and those from Mewar Polytex Group, Kumar Arch Tech Ltd, Vedanta Group, among others.
