Udaipur’s Royal Glory is going to get a technological blend of India’s 5^th largest wind turbine plant by 2012.

Regen Powertech Pvt Ltd, is planning to build its second manufacturing plant in India. According to Bloomberg.com(a global online news provider),  “The Reknowned power plant, which is based in Chennai is expecting the commencement of the production in Januray, near Udaipur.” said K.Varahala Rao, Director of the Company.

According to the Director of the Company, “The plant will be able to produce up to 300 turbines a year.”

“A New 2.5 megawatt turbine, (which currently makes 1.5 megawatt turbine) will also be introduced during the financial year ending in 2013.

Indian firms are going high with more powerful & advanced turbines of 2 megawatt capacity & more. So Udaipur along with India is going tech savvy gradually.

More international Companies like Germany’s Siemens AG (SIE) and Spain’s Gamesa Corporacion Tecnologica SA are also interested to manufacture & sell 2 megawatt turbines to India.
