Le Cakery- an exclusive cake shop opened today at Chetak Circle, Udaipur.

The new bakery has a large variety of products on sale with up to 50 different kinds of cakes, pastries, doughnuts and varieties of breads.

It also happened to be the first and only bakery to introduce some of the most popular bakery products of the world in Udaipur such as Croissants, Mousse, Tiramisu, Tarts, Soup Buns and Sticks etc. which have not yet reached the local market.

Yash Bhatnagar (30), the owner of Le Cakery is a former student of hotel management at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Ahmedabad and has worked for several world class hotel groups such as the Taj Lake Palace, Devigarh Palace, BJN Group, Grand Hyatt and Wyndham. “I’ve always wished to have my own baker y and after working in several organizations and gaining experience of 10 years, I accomplished this dream with Le Cakery.”

Le Cakery – Bakery and Confectionery has emphasized on both French and German bakery products which were not available anywhere in the city until now. The bakery offers more than ten different types of breads and loaves to their customers. Other baked goods such as muffins, mousse and soufflé as well as seven different types of cakes can also be purchased from the bakery.

“We have 4 bakers with us; our aim is to provide quality products consistently. We are going to add 10-15 more products in the coming months. There is also a home delivery service for those who order products worth Rs 200 or more,” adds Yash who became quite busy serving his first clients.

Due to the immense growth standardization of consumers, lots of new and innovative commercial projects are coming up in Udaipur. Though old brands still continue to dominate market, new brands are trying to get the niche products with innovative ideas.
