The marble businessmen were split right down the centre with one group continuing the strike against GST whereas the other group breaking their strike and getting back to business.

Udaipur Marble Association has continued their strike against GST on marble produce. On the other hand Udaipur Marble Processors Association discontinued the strike and started work on all their units.

The protest and slogan shouting at Bhuwana bypass saw participation only from the Udaipur Marble Association. Tejendra Singh Robin, President of Marble Association said that they had already taken the decision to continue strike till 5-Aug and will stick to their decision.
