UT is pleased to introduce the pioneer of this service in Udaipur, Tej Singh, a 44 year old first generation entrepreneur, who is the man behind this concept for Udaipur. Tej Singh completed his Hotel Management in the year 1989 and then secured a Diploma in Tourism.

Thereafter, he entered into the business of travel and tour management. Metered Taxi services being his new venture, he already runs Thar Holidays, which looks after online ticket booking services, and hotel reservations.

Tej Singh was born in Chittorgarh and brought up in Udaipur. The concept of Metered Taxis has been borrowed from current practices of the sort available in Mumbai and Jaipur.

This service, under the banner of Chetak Cabs will be managed by his own son Hemendra Singh.
