After 8 months since the fire gutted the 2 storey Millennium 2000 showroom at Shastri Circle, today the showroom has been inaugurated with a new management and a new name Millennium 2020– albeit millennium still remaining.

The showroom will sale branded readymade garments for gents and will gradually include apparels for ladies in its next quarter of operation.

Dinesh Jain, the owner, was not available for comment as he is not the city; however his cousin Manish Jain on being asked about the reason for investing in a property that brought bad omen for its previous owner- replied quite optimistically and showed his business caliber.

He replied “business to karna hi hai na”(after all we have to do business) . He also added about the new stock which is due to arrive in the showroom in the coming days

The fire had reportedly destroyed the showroom on the night of November 12, 2010 where an estimated loss of more than 1 crore was reported.
