Resonance a premier coaching institute in engineering and medical exam preparation is back with its national talent-o-meter  STaRT-2013 ( Scholarship & Talent Reward Test), which proved a huge success last year with Himanshi Mehta and Yash Gupta from Udaipur winning  the 1^st  prize( gold medal and NASA tour)  and 2^nd prize (science centre, Singapore tour) in VII and XI-maths category respectively.

STaRT is an aptitude cum bench-marking test conducted by Resonance to reach out, spot, reward & nurture talented students across the country and support them in fulfilling their career aspirations.

For a sincere & aspiring student, STaRT provides a platform to showcase his/her talent to the nation which will boost his/her confidence to perform well in competitive examinations ahead & make a bright career.

It enhances competitive spirit, readiness and sincerity amongst students, thereby connecting school students to an authentic, scientific and rewarding National level competition for their class. Bench-marking of individual performance is done at various levels viz District, State and National Level. This year the institute has increased the number of prizes to 1800 worth Rs. 75 Lac and scholarships amounting to Rs. 4 crore.

For students 9 categories of prizes are defined ranging from V to X, XI and XII (Biology, Maths and Open Category) , First prize being 11 day NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) tour along with a gold medal, the first runner up will be privileged with a 9 day CERN-ESA Europe tour and a silver medal, and the second runner ups will  get a chance to win 6 day visit to Science Centre, Singapore and a bronze medal and the top 200 hundred students from each category will be awarded with various prizes.

The exam will be held in two stages in two modes viz offline and online in 65 cities including all the  study centres of Resonance, the first stage will be held in the month of November and the qualifying students will compete to qualify Stage-II, scheduled in the month of January followed by Champions Camp and Felicitation Function at Kota.

The participating school/principal will also be rewarded & recognized based on student’s performance & number of participation. Students can enroll themselves by purchasing information cum application form worth Rs. 250 which is available at all the Study Centres of Resonance at Anand Plaza/ Ashok Nagar and participating schools.
