Dublin is counting down to the biggest party of the year, a two-day extravaganza that will see out the old year and ring in the new. Dublin’s New Year Festival is a mind-blowing mix of live entertainment, arts and culture, which makes the city a top destination for New Year revelers.

Now in its fourth year, New Year’s Festival Dublin has announced a new and exciting program of events to ring in 2018. Dublin city will light up with imagination and wonder over 2 days with 5 spectacular events from 31 December 2017 until 1 January 2018.

The centrepiece will be the Liffey Lights Midnight Moment, a high-flying spectacle of lights and acrobatics that will lead up to the midnight chimes. The event will present a spectacular symphony of aquabeams and search lights dancing across the night sky in time to original music, while acrobats spin and spiral through the sky attached to giant helium balloons as flyboarders perform incredible aquatic and aerial stunts.

New Year’s Festival Dublin revelers can celebrate the New Year at the 3Countdown Concert with Kodaline and special guests Hudson Taylor and Keywest. Get fired up for 2018 as Dublin’s national landmark the Spire beams light into space as the clock strikes midnight.
