Nokia Launches Asha 501
Nokia uncovered the new revamped Asha touch series. The Asha 501 is designed and is being marketed as the cheapest phone in the price band. Embedded with a user friendly interface and an integrated ‘Fastlane View’ displaying notification on the locked screen, the Nokia Asha 501 is being offered under its introductory. In the launch event organised by Nokia in Udaipur on 28th June, the officials briefed about various specifications of the phone. Though the phone had been officially announced a few weeks back, the company is also organising a small zone wise launch.
According to Rajendra Kotwal, Regional Head, Nokia Rajasthan, this dual SIM phone has been integrated with a battery of 1200MAh which gives a standby backup of around 48 days. Other technical specifications includes a 3.15Mega Pixel camera and is available in six vibrant colours (Bright Red, Bright Green, Cyan, Yellow, White and Black) with more than 50 pre-loaded apps.
Piyush Jain, Manager, Nokia Udaipur, informed that this phone is available in the local market at an introductory price of Rs.4999, is one of the most pocket friendly devices of the era in terms of money and device weight, which gives its users a talk time backup of around 17 hours.
