Now, water will be available at an ATM styled automated water machine called “Water ATM” at a minimal cost of Rs.5. Super franchise Tirupati Creation has launched the initiative called ‘Akshay Jal’ in which 20 liters of clean, drinking RO water will be available just with a swap of card.
In a press conference held today, the founder of Akshay Jal Scheme, NRI Akshay Bhargava, said that this is a unique social scheme which is supported by various entrepreneurs of Rajasthan. The aim is to provide clean drinking water to all by using modern technology. Public can test the TDS and water quality on the spot.
He further added that at the first stage, 6 ATMs will be installed which will be initially available at a recharge of Rs. 150. Rs. 5 will deduct from the prepaid card every time a person uses it and he will get 20 liters of water.
In the second stage, ATMs will be installed at Bus Stand, Hospital, Railway Station and other public places where 1 liter water will be available for Re. 1 only.
Basant Bakaliya, MD, Tirupati Creation said that these ATMs will be installed at such localities where there is deficiency of water availability. The machines used are in accordance to the WHO standards which provide 30,000 liter of pure water, every day.
After some time, water will be available to offices, homes and factories at the cost of Rs. 10 per 20 liters. The prepaid card is easily rechargeable.
Each unit installed is completely safe and automated. An engineer is assigned who will sit in the control room to supervise the machines. The GSM will send the standard reports of TDS, PH and others to the main control room.
