Ola (formerly Olacabs), mobile app for cab booking, today announced the launch of services in Udaipur. Udaipur becomes Ola’s 2ndcity in Rajasthan after Jaipur.

Customers can book cabs through the Ola app for Android, iOS and Windows or by calling 0294- 3355335.The Ola app currently has over 60,000 cars available across 52 cities, making it the largest as well as the fastest growing cab booking app. in India.

Ola is very optimistic about its growth in Rajasthan and plans to soon officially launch in Ajmer and Jodhpur.

Lakhs of tourists come here every year to relive the charm of the Rajput era gone by. Plans for Udaipur

Ola has over 150 cabs signed up in Udaipur and plans to increase the number of cabs on its platform to 600 within the next 6 months. Customers can book a Sedan at Rs 49 for the first 2kms and will be charged Rs 14 per km after that.

Ola’s focus over the next 1 year is to create an eco-system to nurture micro-entrepreneurship among drivers in existing as well as new cities. For this purpose, Ola has tied up with car manufacturers like Tata, Ford, Mahindra, Maruti and Nissan across cities to help drivers buy cars from them directly at discounts of up to Rs. 1, 00,000. The company has also tied up with financial institutions to ensure that drivers are able to procure loans for buying their own cars easily.

Ola’s app for Android, iOS and Windows can be downloaded simply by going to www.ola.bz/b on a mobile browser on either of these platforms. For other smartphones, an HTML5 app-like interface is available on www.olacabs.com/m.
