Online Portal will assess Mines Safety and Control
Directorate of Mines Safety has developed software to scrutinize mines for Health Safety and Security. Through data available in the software, the user will be able to filter out those mines where inspection is pending.
Directorate of Mines Safety has developed software to scrutinize mines for Health Safety and Security. Through data available in the software, the user will be able to filter out those mines where inspection is pending.
Web portal ‘Shram Suvidha’, which is developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC) has an added feature which will randomly select mines and present a report. Following the instructions given through the software, mining officers will go for inspection.
Moreover, every inspection report will be available online, for viewing right from the Deputy Director of Mining to the higher officials of Ministry of Labor and Employment.
As per the report, Directorate of Mines Safety has uploaded information of 900 mines located in the Udaipur region, consisting of contact details of every mine owner.
