The online shopping sites are in full support of the lockdown period. This is mainly for the safety of the delivery boys. The sites are however delivering only the essential services but on pre-payment basis. 

The lockdown period is not only for the general masses but also for the online shopping sites. After some of the delivery boys were taken to task in certain cities, the online shopping sites decided to lockdown their services as well. 

There are a lot of people who are waiting for their orders to be delivered. Some of them also contacted the respective shopping sites and they were informed that lockdown is being followed by the sites and the shoppers are requested to either cancel their orders or wait for the lockdown period to be lifted. 

As per reports, Flipkart and Amazon had stopped their services altogether during lockdown but now they have started deliveries of extremely essential products. Most of the sites have started scrolling messages regarding this on their homepage. The shoppers are now patiently waiting for situations to normalise so that they can resume shopping. The consumers have stated that online shopping is a convenient process as they get what they want at home and can also avail discounts.
