Students added plenty of cheer through performances ranging from dance, drama and music at the First Annual Day celebration of Patni Public School in Nimbaheda.

Patni Public School, setup by Wonder Cement, a part of the RK Group, celebrated its First Annual Day on 20^th February.

The celebration started with a prayer to Sarasvati, the Goddess of Learning, followed by a dance program and musical concert by the school orchestra. The students also showcased a play named The Lion King based on the Walt Disney Animation Movie.

Patni Public School has been established in order to offer education to the families of children living near the company’s plant situated at Nimbaheda, Chittorgarh in Rajasthan.  The school offers education across Nursery to Grade VII and is equipped with digital classrooms.  The idea is to empower children through education and help create a better future for them.

A total of 265 students and 19 staff members who form an integral part of the school attended the function, in which 8 students were awarded Best Student in various categories and the Best House trophy was also awarded.

The eminent guests were D.P. Somani, Managing Director; Vivek Patni, Director; S M Joshi, President (Works); P. Patidar, President (Public Relations) and Lt Col Ajay Dhill, Principal, Sainik  School  Chittorgarh, were among the dignitaries present on the occasion. The management gave away prizes to students for academic and sporting excellence.
