‘Platform For Artists’ has planned for an Open Mic event in Udaipur on 19th November 2017 Sunday at Cafe Nirvana from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
‘PFA – Open Mic’ is a unique project by a Pune-based social enterprise ‘Platform For Artists’, founded by Pawan Rochwani in April 2017. They organize projects for artists from different art domains and social backgrounds to come together and create artwork through collaboration. At their upcoming event in Udaipur, they are looking for writers, actors, singers, dancers, musicians, photographers, painters, sketchers, illustrators and all other artists to participate.
‘Platform For Artists’ works on one prime idea of ‘Collaboration over Competition’ and they constantly strive to execute out of the box ideas which will help them reach their goal of building a network among all the artists in India. ‘PFA – Art Getaways’ is one such project where they arrange artistic themed group trips to various places in India.
They frequently host ‘PFA- Open Mic’ events in Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Aurangabad, Nagpur and they now plan to reach other cities as well. They are going to start their own performing wing and perform shows in different cities of the country. Apart from this, they are looking for volunteers to help them in this initiative to reach a maximum number of artists through all their projects.
‘PFA – Open Mic’ is an opportunity for artists from all art domains to come ahead and showcase their artwork. The artists can perform as well as talk about their art journey in front of the audience. Writers can read out their write-ups, dancers and singers can perform and painters can live paint or even showcase their past paintings. It is a chance for the artists to showcase their artwork and talk about the perception and ideology of their creation. Unlike other open mic events, this event is open to artists from all genres to join and celebrate their art. To register for the event, contact Anushtha – 8208191148
