Prarambh – The Best Launch-pad for Your Startup, is the flagship event of Saksham, E-cell of IIM Udaipur.  The 2019 edition (Sixth) of this event ended on 3 February at IIM Udaipur.

Prarambh was sponsored by Yes Bank, Samir Construction Company, TiE Udaipur, Zzungry.com, Advaiya and the Incubation Centre of IIM Udaipur. The main aim of this event was to foster the entrepreneurship character among students.

Pramrabh 2019 was the sixth edition of it and it was a huge success. There were two categories, in one, existing startups with Minimum Viable Products an3 d in second, new ideas yet to be taken to the market.

Prarambh’19 had garnered enthusiastic participation from all parts of the country. This event received more than 150+ start-up ideas and after two rounds of screening, total 10 teams were selected from each category. They went through a 6-week mentor-ship period by industry stalwarts to refine their ideas even more. Out of 20 teams, 18 teams presented their ideas to the panel of Judges/Investors on campus on 3 February 2019. In category 1, start-up FloraFoam secured 1^st position, in category 2, start-up Cortex secured 1^st position and both attracted investors for their idea.
