Udaipur Cement Works Ltd, formerly known as JK Udaipur Udyog Ltd have started production at their integrated plant in Udaipur, following a comprehensive renovation, revival and rehabilitation scheme, as per the company sources.

In their letter addressed to the Department of Corporate Services at the Bombay Stock Exchange, where they are listed, the company says that post restarting their production process, their first lots of clinker and cement have begun.

Earlier, the Board of Directors, in their meeting held on February 14, 2017, had appointed Poonam Singh as Additional (Independent) Director on the Board, to hold office till the next Annual General Meeting.
