Hindustan Zinc has been awarded as the “Best Organisation Working for Persons with Disabilities” by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan.

The award was conferred by Bhanwar Meghwal – Cabinet Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoR and Akhil Arora – Principal Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment, GoR at a glittering ceremony held in Jaipur on 25^th February, 2019. On behalf of Hindustan Zinc, the award was received by Princy Sen from CSR team accompanied with Amritanshu Sharma from Corporate Affairs.

Jeevan Tarang Zinc Ke Sang initiative is attempting (along with our partner organizations) to create a more equal world for all and focusing on improving the education systems for 800+ people with disabilities through technology, capacity building and sensitization interventions.
