Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies established its Research Awareness Program (RAP) with an objective of promoting research and development among the faculty members.

Under RAP, Professor Dr. RK Nahar, Vice Chancellor, Geetanjali University graced the function as the Chef Guest.  Dr. HM Gupta, Former Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi –Guest of Honour of the program threw light on the importance of research in technical institutions.

Prof. Dr. KN Sheth, Director, GITS motivated the faculty members to establish research in the departments through government funding agencies.  According to Dr. Sheth, research is successful only when it is useful for the society.  Dr. VR Raghuveer, Dean, R&D and HOD Computer Science and Engineering, GITS presented his research work on “Information Retrieval for e-Learning”
