The Udaipur District Level Rising Rajasthan Investors Summit was held on October 23 at Hotel Radisson Blu Udaipur. The event closed with a historic signing of MoUs for 183 Investment Proposals worth a whooping Rss 13,000 Crore. Rs. 1,500 Cr  worth proposals were received on the spot. These  investments in Udaipur, span across various sectors, viz. Tourism, Mining,  Fertilizer, Marble and Food Processing. The investments are expected to generate employment for 35000 people.

Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, a special guest at the event, expressed his belief that Udaipur has gained global recognition for its tourism and mining sectors, and will script a new chapter of development through fresh investment proposals. He emphasized that local residents will benefit from industrial development and employment opportunities.

In another statement, Hemant Meena, the District in-Charge and Minister of Revenue, said that Rajasthan is going to be a major contributor to achieving the vision of  a developed India by 2047. He added that the state government is actively encouraging investments through the new Investment Promotion Policy 2024, and is dedicated to supporting investors.

During his address as the chief guest at the Rising Rajasthan District Level Investor Summit, which was organized by the District Administration, District Industries Centre, and RIICO at Hotel Radisson Blue in Udaipur, Meena emphasized that there are ample development opportunities in Udaipur district, particularly in tourism, mining, food processing, marble, and real estate. He encouraged investors to consider Udaipur as a destination for investment, assuring them of full support from the Rajasthan government.

Touching on the importance of land availability for industrial activities, the Minister, who also serves as the Revenue Department Minister, pledged to expedite the resolution of land allotment cases. He also assured investors of comprehensive support from the administration and all departments.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of lamps, followed by the release of the Rising Rajasthan brochure by Minister-in-charge and other guests. Additionally, a video showcasing investment opportunities in Udaipur was screened, and successful entrepreneurs shared their experiences of establishing enterprises in Udaipur during the program.
