SBI General Insurance is expanding its footprint in the State of Rajasthan. It is SBI General’s 2^nd Branch in Rajasthan and its 29^th Branch pan India. Steve Hollow, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, SBI General Insurance Inaugurated the Branch.

Speaking on the occasion of the new branch opening, Hollow said, “We are happy to be present in the historic City of Lakes, Udaipur. With the opening of Udaipur Branch, we will be able to better serve the people of this region. We see a great opportunity in serving the needs of the Industries in the Southern Rajasthan region by providing customised Insurance solutions.

SBI General has achieved a Premium Income of Rs.493.41 Crores in the first 9 months of the current FY with a growth rate of 225%. SBI General is planning to serve the needs of Individual, SME and Corporate customers in the region by offering Motor Insurance, Health Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, SME Insurance and Insurance Solutions for Corporate. By working closely with State Bank of India and its Associate Bank State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, SBI General is well placed to serve the South Rajasthan region.

Hollow also added, “New product launch coupled with rapid expansion of foot print through SBI & its Associate Bank SBBJ Branch Network & Agency channel is what will set the pace for our growth prospects in the Rajasthan”.
