Wonder Cement sponsored Kavi Sammelan has historically been the major attraction of 10 day’s Rashtriya Dusshera Mela at Nimbahera, that attracts thousands of people from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. This year Kavi Sammelan was inaugurated with the lamp lightening by President (Works) S. M. Joshi, AVP (Commercial)  Nitin Jain, AVP (Materials) R. S. Kabra, AGM (HR) Vinay Sharma of Wonder Cement, MLA (Nimbahera & Chhotisadri)  Srichand Kriplani and SDM (Nimbahera) Hemendra Nagar.

National level poet  Shailesh Lodha (of Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma fame), Vishnu Saxena and Hariom Panwar were major attraction for the audiences. Programme was also witnessed by SP Chittorgarh Prasanna Kumar Khamesra, Additional SP Rajendra Dushyant, MLA (Chittorgarh) Chandrabhan Singh, MLA (Bengu) Suresh Dhaker and many leaders & officers from nearby districts. Thousands of viewers enjoyed various poems of poet extending till 4 AM.

Wonder Cement utilised this opportunity to connect with consumer by placing canopy, hoardings, welcome gates and drinking water facility at various locations for thousands of visitors. A LED screen was placed in canopy to provide product quality information of Wonder Cement. ‘Hunar’ stall of exhibition cum shop was placed to showcase the products developed by rural women and this also provided unique opportunities to women for selling their products.

Nimbahera Dusshera Mela is the second largest fair after Kota Dusshera Mela. Various cultural events and sports competitions are also organised by Municipal Corporation of Nimbahera. Since 2009, Wonder Cement Ltd has been sponsoring Kavi Sammelan programme in Rashtriya Dashera Mela organised by Municipal Corporation Nimbahera.
