Standard Chartered Bank launches at Udaipur

Standard Chartered Bank, India's largest foreign bank launched a full-service branch in Udaipur on Monday. A wide-ranging product suite of the bank will be available for customers at Udaipur. This is the second branch that the bank has opened in Rajasthan, the first one being in State’s capital, Jaipur.

The occasion will be graced by the presence of His Eminence, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, as the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the launch, Shyamal Saxena, General Manager, Integrated Distribution, South Asia said, “Standard Chartered Bank has been in India since 1858 and offers best-in-class banking and financial products and services to its customers here. We hope the people of Udaipur will benefit from the banking services offered out of our new branch.”

The Udaipur branch, at Apex Square, Bank Street, Madhuban, will offer a range of banking services such as savings products, including no-frills account, investment services, and corporate payment solutions.

Standard Chartered Bank launches at UdaipurCustomers will also enjoy the expertise of a highly specialised team of financial experts to help them make the best of their banking experience. Standard Chartered employs approximately 80 employees across its two branches in Rajasthan.

The latest launch will take the total number of Standard Chartered branches in India to 95, spread across 38 cities – the widest footprint by far offered by any foreign bank in the country. Standard Chartered has continued to invest in India, which is now the Bank’s second largest market globally.
