Students write STaRT-2013 Stage-I for USA (NASA), Singapore (Science Centre)
Resonance, a premier educational institute of the country, has concluded stage-I of nation-wide Academic Talent Search Test called Scholarship & Talent Reward Test (STaRT) 2013. Last year also this test created a lot of buzz among students, & a total of 184656 students & 731 schools did register for the test.
Resonance, a premier educational institute of the country, has concluded stage-I of nation-wide Academic Talent Search Test called Scholarship & Talent Reward Test (STaRT) 2013. Last year also this test created a lot of buzz among students, & a total of 184656 students & 731 schools did register for the test.
The test which was contacted at Resonance centers on (2 Dec & 25 Nov) where as in schools on the dates of (03 Nov, 23 Nov & 1 Dec). Students of classes V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII (All streams in Class XI & XII) could participate in this National Talent – O – Meter. STaRT – 2013.The STaRT stage-I will also be conducted in schools on 7 Dec.
The result of stage-I will be declared on 29 Dec on the website resostart.ac.in as well as Resonance website. The shortlisted candidates will write their stage –II exam (Last stage) on January 13, 2013 at 65 centers across the country.
The top 200 students from each class & stream will be selected for the prizes & from these top three ranker will go for USA (NASA), Singapore (Science Centre) & Europe (CERN) Tours & other will be giving branded Laptop, Tablet PC, Digital Camera, Sports Watch.
The Stage-II will be followed by Champion’s Camp & Felicitation Function at Kota, Rajasthan. Champion’s camp will be conducted for the Top 100 students of each category except XII (Science). Total 800 students will be invited for the champion’s camp. Champion’s camp will be a 3 day event in which expert mentors of Resonance will educate & guide these students with a focus on establishing foundation for future competitive exams like NTSE, IJSO, KVPY, Olympiads, IIT-JEE & other Engineering & Medical entrance exams according to relevance of the class of students.
This year also students & schools of Udaipur have shown a great interest in the event, and a total of around 2500 students participated in the test from the city. The test was conducted at MDS public School, Sun beam, Eden International, St Anthony, Govt. school Madhubhan, Govt. school Jadgish chowk, Govt. school Garibnagar, Govt School Tidi Girwa, were main among the schools.
Last year total 400 students were selected for stage-II from the city, from these 131 students were eligible for prizes, in which Himanshi Mehta of Class VII got AIR-I & won 11 days NASA, USA Visit & Gold Medal, Yash Gupta of Class XI got AIR – 2 & won 6 days Science Centre, Singapore Visit & Silver Medal, Palak Jain also of Class XI got AIR – 3 & won Branded Laptop & Bronze Medal.
