Mahindra’s iconic SUV “THAR” was unveiled today at KS Automobiles, Udaipur. The unveiling of the THAR was done under COVID protocol by His Highness Prince Lakshya Raj Singh Mewar in the presence of Directors of KS Automobiles, Sunil Parihar and Aakash Parihar and the Regional Sales Manager of Mahindra and Mahindra, Deepak Sinha.

In his address to those present on the occasion, Prince Lakshya Raj said that the new THAR is an unmatched example of how the legacy vehicle has been refurbished to match the latest technology, while keeping its original form intact. He appreciated the team of Mahindra and Mahindra for this effort.

Sunil Parihar, Director of KS Automobiles, exclusive dealer of Mahindra and Mahindra in Udaipur, said that the THAR has been an integral part of the Mahindra and launching the refurbished iconic SUV with its timeless beauty is a matter of pride for the Mahindra family. He added that the styling of the modern avatar of THAR showcases performance, ease of driving, comfort, technical features and security in one package.

Aakash Parihar, Director, KS Automobiles said that the high end mStallion comes with both a 2.2 ltr engine as well as 2.0 ltr engine. The two models AX and LX come with 130BHP and 150BHP power respectively.  He added that the design and technology of the modern THAR has been incorporated with the end users perspective. Off roading being the USP of the THAR, the SUV comes laced with off road hardware, rough route power and tough road security features. The pricing, he further added was an added attraction for both adventure enthusiasts as well as the regular four wheel enthusiasts.

Naved Khan, General Manager of KS Automobiles, Udaipur said that the THAR starts at Rs 9.8 Lac ex-showroom (AX Petrol) and goes up to Rs 13.75 Lac (LX Diesel AT).
