WCL is conducting training programs for rural women groups in surrounding villages like sewing training, making of food items, etc. to generate additional source of income and hobby classes on Mehandi design. 

These activities are conducted under “HUNAR’ program of CSR scheme of the company. Six months sewing training program for women conducted by Wonder Cement in village Karunda near WCL plant Nimbahera was completed on 2nd Nov 2015.

The Training program was designed by Usha Sewing Training Center, Gurgaon and conducted by trainer Ranu Sargara. Training was imparted to 50 participants.

Nabin Singh, Hamender Jhala of WCL and Gopal Jat, social worker of Karunda were present in a course certificate distribution program.
