Dr Suman Singh of Udaipur became to first Indian and first Asian Woman to be felicitated with the Liberty Mutual Medal – gets her name in the India Book of Records.
Dr. Suman Singh, Director Students Welfare at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur established a record and figured in the India Book of Records for being awarded the Liberty Mutual Medal for excellence in research on occupational health and ergonomics.

Dr. Suman Singh’s name is registered in the category of Women Researcher Empowering Women Farmers. Dr. Suman, while attending the Triennial Congress of the International Ergonomic Association held in 2009 at Beijing, China, was awarded the Liberty Mutual Medal with a cash award of US$10000. Dr Suman Singh is not only the first Indian but in-fact the first Asian woman to bag the Liberty Mutual Medal.
Today India Book of Records registered the name of Dr. Suman Singh in the category of woman researcher empowering women farmers.
