While working in Infosys Technologies, Nikhilesh Tayal got stung by the entrepreneurship bug and started an online venture CVBhejo.com, part of Morpheus Ganf’s Batch 8 and was selected as top 10 upcoming entrepreneurs in reality show Pitch by Bloomberg TV.

Nikhilesh ran this company for 2.5 years after which he ventured out into something untouched. In November 2014, Nikhilesh started an all new startup called ‘Stagephod’, a dedicated market place for independent filmmakers and artists from around the country that connects them with incredible opportunities.

Based in Udaipur, the startup is a platform to showcase the talent as well as a marketplace for the filmmakers. It helps produce video and connect talent with brands, artists, individuals and non-profits. A plethora of options ranging from corporate video, promo video, product video, explanatory video, music video, web series, wedding films, short films etc. are available.

“We want to be a platform that gives an option for clients to hire professional video makers within their budget and own location. At the same time all filmmakers can concentrate on making films/videos and leave the marketing to us,” says Nikhilesh.

Presently, the online marketplace ‘Stagephod’ does not charge anything from clients and is planning to shift its headquarters from Udaipur to Mumbai soon.
