Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) auctioned 90 stalls at Sahliyon Ki Bari today. UMC has accommodated around 450 stalls in various locality including UIT Circle, Fatehpura and Neelkanth Mahadev temple. The auction will continue for 3 days.

Durgesh Sharma, President, Revenue Committee, UMC informed that for Hariyali Amavasya Fair this year, 450 stalls are proposed, out which marking of 300 stalls was done this morning. In auction started from 1 pm today, around 90 stalls were sold.

Sharma added that marking for remaining stalls will be completed by 22nd July, while auction of stalls will continue from 11 am onwards on 22nd July.

Sharma also informed that similar to last year, stalls or hawkers would be entertained at Paal side. The decision was taken in the interest of maintaining cleanliness of Vibhuti Park. The gates of Fatehsagar paal will be kept open on 26th and 27th July of Hariyali Amavasya fair.
