Vedanta Khushi: A Loud Whisper of Street Children of Mulla Talai
VEDANTA KHUSHI organized an on-location workshop with the street children of Mulla Talai in Udaipur on 24th and 25th August 2012. The workshop aimed at sensitizing these children, who were in the age group of 2-15 years, about the health-education-nutrition issues.
VEDANTA KHUSHI organized an on-location workshop with the street children of Mulla Talai in Udaipur on 24th and 25th August 2012. The workshop aimed at sensitizing these children, who were in the age group of 2-15 years, about the health-education-nutrition issues.
Vedanta team met and spoke to a gathering of 125 children about the importance of brushing teeth daily, taking bath, wearing clean clothes and combing their hair. Good habits and social etiquettes were also part of the briefing.
Children when asked about how many of them touched the feet of their parents every morning, only a few could reply, but promised that they would all do so from then on.
After speaking to the kids at length, hygiene utilities were distributed to all the children.
