Vedanta KHUSHI and GBH American Hospital have come together to conduct free operations of children suffering from Cleft Lips and Cleft Palates. These operations will be partly funded by Smile Train, an international charity organization that conducts Cleft Lips/Palates operations, through its partner Hospitals.

Problem of Cleft Lips/Palates is not new to India, as almost 35,000 children every year are born with this congenital deformity.

The surgery would be conducted by Dr. Guru Bhushan (M.S., MCh.)- Consultant Burns, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon at GBH American Hospital. The average time taken for surgery is less than 2 hours.
