Set against a backdrop of River Yamuna, a heart rending short story, depicting love of a brother for his only sister who departed to meet God, has been beautifully written by Anil Kumar (name changed).

Anil has given a strong social message against girl child abuse and female foeticide with his grasping story of how, due to such evil mindset of the society, he lost her little ‘CHOTI’.

Filled with hate for his parents, Anil now spends his time teaching little girls in the villages and names most of them as chhoti. This is how his little sister lives in his memories.
