Hotel Devi Garh Palace, Udaipur bagged the prestigious WB Honours 2011, for ‘Best Bathroom Restoration in Heritage Building’ by Washrooms and Beyond, India’s first washroom magazine, exclusively committed to the washroom industry of India.

Devi Garh, the 18^th Century heritage hotel in Delwara, near Udaipur has used marble and semi-precious stones for their suites while the washrooms have modern designs that assimilate the heritage look with contemporary architecture. The hotel has 39 suites.

WB Honours was recently held at Mumbai’s JW Marriott to admire people and businesses for excellent work in designing, innovation and maintenance in all aspects.

There were a total of 10 awards in different categories. ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru won the award of Unique Interior Design; Oberoi Gurgaon received the honor of Ideal glass and Accessory Usage; The Orchid Mumbai got the honor for Green Washrooms; Delhi Airport was honored with Intelligent Washroom Design in the Airports category, while The Oberoi Mumbai got the award for the best Technology Driven Washroom, etc. ( full list here)
