Arvana, the shopping centre at Hathipol, took up the green initiative to welcome the monsoon this year.More than 150 plants, both potted and saplings were planted across the mall…covering the external premises, surrounding areas and all through the internal areas of the mall.

Making it an inclusive activity, Hasan Paliwala of Arvana said that this monsoon, being the first one since the Arvana shopping center opened to public, it was decided to mark the first monsoon season as “Arvana Super Green”.  All businesses operating out of Arvana participated in this activity.

He added, “we understand that the color green, specially through the presence of plants has a soothing effect all around. We need to ensure that the thousands of patrons who visit Arvana to shop for their daily needs have this pleasing aura all around.  Since visitors walk in after being exposed to sun, grime and pollution outside, the ambience in Arvana should be such that pleases the eyes and mind, ensuring a superlative shopping experience.”
