Wonder Cement Ltd (WCL), the RK Marble Group company with cement plant of  4 million tons per annum, capacity in Nimbahera  became the first company in the state to pay online royalty  to the Government of Rajasthan.

WCL received the e-challan for the advance royalty paid in a launch ceremony held at the plant in Nimbahera in the presence of government officials and representatives of the cement industry. The company had made the payment by logging on to the state government’s website www.egras.co.in

“It is a privilege to be the first cement company in Rajasthan to be making an e –payment for the royalty dues to the government. We are honored that we have been able to advance the cause of e-governance in our own small way.” said Vivek Patni, Director of Wonder Cement Ltd.

D.S Maru, Director, Department of Mines & Geology (DMG);  Pankaj Gehlot, Addl. Director, DMG, P. Patidar President (PR) WCL, S M Joshi, President (Works) WCL, Representatives of BCW, Lafarge, Aditya Birla Group and JK Cement were also present at the event.
