Wonder Cement, part of the RK Group, felicitated Rajkumari Yadav today at a ceremony  held at the company’s head office in Udaipur. Rajkumari Yadav who hails from Udaipur is an International Medalist in Power Lifting and State Gold Medalist in Weight Lifting. 

A young and self-motivated weight lifting athlete from Udaipur recently secured laurels for the state at the recently concluded International Weight Lifting competition held at Tatanagar in Jamshedpur. Rajkumari won two medals, Silver and Bronze in the tournament. She was presented with a citation and a shawl by Mr Vivek Patni, Director of Wonder Cement Limited at a glittering ceremony held in the presence of the company’s employees.

“Let me convey my sincere thanks to Wonder Cement for this felicitation. They have been extremely supportive when it comes to promoting sports and sporting professionals from the state. We need more corporate to come forward and promote the sporting culture in the state,” said Rajkumari Yadav.

“I would urge Wonder Cement to keep up their good work in supporting athletes like us and I would now like to bring glory to my country in the field of weight lifting,” added Rajkumari.

In the past, Wonder Cement has been supporters of sports events such as Jaipur Sports League and 2^nd Rajasthan Cricket Championship of the Deaf.
