Wonder Cement Limited Celebrates 46th National Safety Week
Celebration of 46th National Safety Week was held at Wonder Cement from 4th -10th March at Nimbahera. The program started with safety pledge on 4th march and concluded on 10th march through closing ceremony.

Closing ceremony was organized on 10th of march, 2017. All employee, associates & other stakeholder were present. J R Gautam was the chief guest of the function. The program was inaugurated through safety flag hoisting & lighting of lamps by J R Gautam, S M Joshi – President (Works). Abhishek Kumar, Sr Officer (Safety) took safety pledge which was followed by all members & dignitaries present over there. Asish Mukherjee, DGM – Safety shared safety statistics of calendar year 2016 with the audience & briefly explained safety activities & initiatives taken by WCL during the year.
J R Gautam, Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories & Boilers, Govt of Rajasthan, shared his view on importance of safety in our personal & professional life & expressed his satisfaction on safety initiatives taken by Wonder Cement limited since last few years.
S M Joshi – President, Works shared his views on safety theme of National Safety Week of 2017 ‘Leadership in safety & health enhances business sustainability’. He advised employees to remember individual roles and responsibilities towards safety & demonstrate their safety commitment through leadership.
A speech competition was organized for employees on ‘My contribution in developing safety at Wonder Cement Ltd’. Shortlisted employees shared their perception & experiences through this event. Winners of this competition were selected by distinguished guest.
To increase safety awareness, during the week, different safety related competitions like quiz, poster, slogan, essay, emergency drill, etc were organized for employees, associates & family members. Participants were awarded with token gifts to recognize their participation in competitions.
