In recognition of its services to the community, Wonder Cement was recently awarded for its campaign promoting safe drinking water for all. The campaign, under the name of Swach Jal Sabka Haq, is run under Wonder Cement’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

This year’s theme for the India CSR Awards was ‘Celebrating Innovation and Leadership in CSR’. The India CSR awards have been instituted to recognise the innovative practices in India. This was the third year for the awards.

The Swach Jal Sabka Haq campaign is being run with an objective of providing free, clean and cold drinking water to people across 70-90 locations of 29 select districts in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The campaign is estimated to touch over 16 lakh people.
