From the ancient times people used to do yoga to have a peace and concentration of mind and soul. Today as well, under the guidance of yoga instructor people do practice meditation. Meditation which is also called as Dhyaan is a yoga asana that aids a person to control his mind and thoughts running in it.

Having a concentration on thoughts makes a person mentally strong and also increases the power to focus on things. For best result one should hold in the pose for 15 to 20 seconds. This yoga asana strengthens legs. Vrikshasana or the Tree Pose: To be done in a tree pose this asana is called as Vrikshasana. This asana is focused on the stability of a tree and hence is called like this. The person doing this asana need not to close his eyes like the other ones, one should in fact keep the eyes open to maintain body balance. Doing this asana early in the morning is useful. One should hold in this pose for at least a minute.

This yoga asana helps in balancing and strengthening of legs. It also builds up self-esteem and hence helps a person to deal with life issues properly. And the most important benefit of the asana is that it calms your nervous system and treats numbness.

Natarajasana or the Dancer Pose:  This yoga pose is dedicated to the dancing avatar of Lord. Shiva called as Nataraj.  This yoga pose is considered to be one of the toughest poses and takes time for a person to be perfect in it. Doing this asana empty stomach everyday will give the best benefit. One should hold in the pose for 15 to 30 seconds. This asana is useful in reducing weight and also improves digestive system. It increases body flexibility as well. It makes muscle strong. And, last but not the least it clears the brain and takes a person away from depression. This yoga asana enhances blood circulation and endurance.
