Department of Transfusion Medicine, RNT Medical College organized number of programs on World Blood Donors Day. On this day, around 10 Donors and NGOs were appreciated. The theme of the program was ‘Safe Blood for Saving Mothers’.

Dr. Sanjay Prakash, Coordinator, RNT Medical College, informed that on the occasion a rally was taken out in which nursing students of the college participated. A blood donation camp was also organized at Blood Bank.

Dr. Sanjay added that the award ceremony was followed by a guest lecture, which cleared various myths related to blood donation. The participating nursing students made poster on ‘Safe Blood for Saving Mothers’ and also wrote slogans on the theme.
