With a motive to provide mother’s milk to impoverished infants, Divya Mother’s Milk Bank was established in Udaipur. Today a 28-day-old baby girl became the first child to be benefited from the bank.

Bhuri Bai, mother of the infant received the milk by Mother Milk Bank COO Dr. R.K Agrawal and Dr. Devendra Sarin, Head of Pediatric Department UNIT-D.

Founder of the Bank Devendra Guru informed that 62 units of milk have been collected with the help of aware women donors. But currently, 90 children admitted in the hospital require the milk.

This requirement is impossible to be fulfilled until we have mothers volunteer to come up and donate 100 units of milk every day.
